Dr. Kenneth Roth
Born in New York, Dr. Kenneth J. Roth completed his undergraduate degree at State University of New York, Binghamton, medical degree and internship at State University of New York at Buffalo, and internal medicine residency at UCSD Medical Center.
Dr. Kenneth J. Roth is a diplomat and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine. He has been working in private practice since 1986 and is one of the original founders of San Diego Internal Medicine Associates. He is dedicated to patient care and in addition to seeing his patients in the office setting he continues to follow their care in the hospital where he is a hospitalist at Sharp Memorial Hospital. He is active in many leadership roles and has been on the Board of Trustees for Sharp Healthcare since 2001 as well as active President of Sharp Community Medical Group. Dr. Roth is also a member of the American Medical Association and San Diego Medical Society.
When he is not working Dr. Roth is an avid runner and golfer. He also enjoys travel and swimming.
Dr. Rolf Ehlers
Dr. Rolf Ehlers graduated AOA from Case Western School of Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio in 1982. He moved to San Diego for an Internal Medicine internship and residency at UCSD Medical Center.
Dr. Rolf Ehlers is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. For 5 years, Dr. Ehlers was an attending physician in the Emergency Room at UCSD Medical Center, Life Flight physician and worked with Critical Air during emergency evacuations. Experience in the Emergency Room setting fine tuned Dr. Ehlers’ ability to diagnose and treat. Dr. Ehlers has been very active in leadership roles throught San Diego. He is one of the original founders of San Diego Internal Medicine Associates, Sharp Community Medical Group and San Diego Hospitalist Associates. Dr. Ehlers has been recognized by his patients with their generous “Guardian Angels” donations to Sharp Healthcare Foundation for which he is very grateful. Dr. Ehlers enjoys both his office and hospital practices.
Dr. Karim Mansour
Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
Dr. Karim Mansour earned a bachelor’s degree from New York University and a medical degree at Albany Medical School in New York. Realizing his desire to treat both adults and children, Dr. Mansour moved to Loma Linda, CA for a multi-specialty internship and residency.
Dr. Karim Mansour is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics and is board certified in both specialties. Prior to joining San Diego Internal Medicine Associates, he was a clinical instructor at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Mansour joined San Diego Internal Medicine Associates in 1996. He is a founding partner and has been instrumental in the organization of San Diego Hospitalist Associates, a hospitalist group practicing at Sharp Memorial Hospital. He is on staff at Sharp Memorial, Sharp Mary Birch, and Sharp Mesa Vista Hospitals.
